The association run the following competitons throughout the year:

Summer League (County ranking competition)

The LPA Summer League currently consists of 5 divisions competing throughout the summer months. Games are played weekly upon a Wednesday evening.

Presidents Cup (County ranking competition)

The President's Cup is a knock out competition.  It was inaugurated in 1987 and gives an equal opportunity to all LPA registered Summer League clubs to compete.  There is also a plate competition where all teams knocked out in the first round are automatically entered.

Woolwich Trophy

The Woolwich Trophy is the LPA Champion of Champions Trophy.  The winners and runners up of each division of the LPA Summer League will play off on a straight knock out basis.

Winter League Triples (County ranking competition)

The Winter League Triples competition is run during the winter months of the
year.  Each event is held at different venues around the county.

A number of other, one off, events are run during the summer. These also acrue county points.

Every year a number of competitions are run and players are invited to represent Leicestershire at county level. These players are based upon the county rankings. Therefore the more competitions played in will increase the chances of being selected to represent the county.
