Who are the LPA?
The LPA was formed over 25 years ago and together with the help of the East Midlands Petanque Association actively encourages and assists players of any age or gender throughout the County to play the sport at whatever level they aspire, be that club competitions or representing their Country at international level.

The LPA organises a Petanque League with over 50 teams competing throughout the Summer and Winter months, County competitions and hosts or assists with additional competitions throughout Leicestershire almost every weekend through the year.

We can provide information and help on all aspects of the game from coaching and umpiring facilities to advice and support for anyone who wishes to form a new club or build a new playing surface.

You do not have to hold a BPF Licence to play in any LPA competition or League fixture.

Players competing in any LPA competition or League fixture should be aware that the LPA will not be held responsible in the unlikely event of any personal injury or damage to property.
